Ahe Nila Saila – This is an invocation to Lord Jagannath. This is an odia bhajan written in 17th-century. Saint-poet Salabega, wrote this poem addressing Lord Jagannath in Puri.

The dancers will depict how the Lord saves an elephant who is caught by an alligator. Elephant prays to the lord for his life.  When Dushasana began to disrobe her, you protected her with your divine power and provided her saree with an unending length. You saved Prahalada from
